Sunday was fortunately a calm day of just riding and to be honest working through the aches of our no longer twenty year old bodies. The bikes ran without issue which was great.
We again found some great winding roads complete with nice elevation changes and no traffic, as I don’t think many folks travel on the roads we were on. One thing we have noticed is that the farther north we get the less inclined people are to strike up a conversation.

we did get stuck in a bit or rain which made riding the GL a bit sketchy as the rear tire is not in great shape. The bonus of the rain is that it made us head for a covered bridge for some protection, though as we got to the bridge the rain stopped. At the bridge we found this collection of old cars and an old army 1/4 ton, also all trying to hide from the storm.
We hope for a safe last few hundred miles and are looking forward to sleeping in our own beds tonight but also a bit sad that the journey is coming to an end, because life should be about the journey not the destination.
