On the road finally!

Craig did a great job rigging up our luggage while I headed to return our rental car and when I got back we loaded up and finally hit the road.

Oh my, who thought traveling in Texas at the end of August was a good idea?the heat combined with the heat from the freeways and all the traffic trying to get out of Dallas about melted us. Fortunately the bikes seem tougher than we are.

Not sure where we will end up tonight but we are wandering east and will ride until our butts hurt too much to go any further. Craig says he’s already ready to 🛑. Just kidding, he’s pretty tough for an old bald guy.

Craig’s tender butt needed some beads of course in a day or two I may wish I had some too but we shall see. Time to get back on the road.
